It's just that now quite a few programs are requiring a minimum of 10.4 in order to upgrade (most notably Firefox). It is running OS X 10.3.9 with no problems. I am relatively new to the Mac but inherited a Mac as part of a sale of a business. Please forgive my ignorance if this is a common question or something obvious.
